PDA Data science
As part of our commitment to providing CPD for college staff we have been running a range of courses including the PDA in Data Science, to lectures and other college staff across colleges in Scotland.

Two of the Learning Development Tutors within Edinburgh College decided to do their project as an investigation into student withdrawals.
They both looked at the same subject, but from different angles, and their finished dashboards are frankly amazing.
It’s worth noting, that neither of these 2 had used Power BI before, but the finished work is a testament to their commitment and engagement over the PDA.
The course was a fantastic experience that not only helped me gain a better understanding of data science but thanks to Rik's clear guidance, accessible materials and positive encouragement it has made me a more confident learner in general and especially when it comes to data. I am able to use what I have learnt immediately and it has already enhanced my current role as well as created some positive future opportunities.
